TheCorporateNomadic How else will she fight the under- blanket people?
  • 06
SomeRandomName13 Like I can give them permission for anything. They do what they want 24/7

OkSherbert2281 You worded the question wrong. I think you meant does the cat give you permission to be on their bed?

CupcakeMu er86 I have 3 cats. All of them want to be next to me while sleeping. I'm lucky I'm allowed on my OWN double bed

bengalibelle I used to and she would sit on my chest and cuddle on me and put her paw on my mouth and all the cute things. Or curl up next to me. But then I started having to give her anti seizure meds which she hates and she started peeing on my bed. So no more bed for Moojie. But I not-so- infrequently go sleep on the pull out sofa bed in the living room (that she doesn't pee on) just to get the cuddles again.

EU-HydroHomie Are you guys giving permissions to the cats?
  • 15
Gravfenbach No, my cats (sometimes) allow me some bed space, if I have been good. I've got good at sleeping in some very uncomfortable positions over years. The babies take priority

I don't have a choice with this one. She'll yell at me until I let her under the duvet with me The way I see it, my cats don't have as long as me in this world, and I chose to bring them in to my home. I wouldn't prohibit any other family from using furniture, so why should I prohibit my cats? They're just as much my family as anyone I'm actually blod related to

timelesstimez Sure, let's pretend that I can stop him

ruibingw I feel those that don't are missing out on the best nap/sleep buddies. But I can understand those that suffer from allergies. I'm typing this while having 3 cats sleeping on or next to me.
  • 24
oatdeksel yes, why have a cat, if you don't fall asleep with a purring fur pillow in your arms?
  • 25
difficult_Person_666 Absolutely not, but she doesn't listen... I did try the closing my bedroom door "trick" but she got wise to that and would hide under my bed until I closed the door, then when I was in bed, just "yeah? What ya gonna do about it?!" So she won

Ataybi95 My cat owns the house. She can do whatever she wants to do. I have no authority on her. I'm so lucky that she lets me in her home.
